"devoted to grow. glorify and give"

Our Beliefs

 Statement of Faith

  1. Bible

We believe the Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inerrant, infallible, complete written Word of God. The Bible, composed of 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament to be the plenary, verbally inspired Word of God and that the Scriptures are God’s final authority for faith and life. (2 Samuel 23:2, Psalm 119:89, Matthew 5:18, John 10:35, John 16:12-13, 20:30-31, 1 Corinthians 2:13, 2 Timothy 2:18-19, 3:15-17,        1 Peter 1:23-25, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Revelations 22:8, 18-19

  1. God

We believe God is the only fitting object of our worship.  Any worship of a god that does not include the triune nature of God is not the worship of the God of the Bible.  The Trinity consists of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Psalm 18:30, 135:6, 145:3, 147:5, 1 Corinthians  8:4-6, l Timothy 1:17, Mark 12:29; John 1:3 4:24, 5:26; 14:9, Deuteronomy  33:27,  Matthew 28:19, 1  John 5:7, Philippians 2:5-6)

  1. God the Father – We believe the Father is a Spirit. He is the first person of the Trinity. He is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. (1 Kings 8:27, Psalm 139:7-10, 147:5, Isaiah 46:10, Matthew 28:19, John 4:24, Acts 7:48-49, Hebrews 4:13)
  2. Jesus Christ – We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Laying aside His glory, He came to us born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified for the sins of all, buried and three days later rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. He is the only basis for salvation. And now is reigning in power with God the Father, while interceding for us. (Matthew 1:18, 23, John 1:1, 14, 18, 14:1-6, Luke 24:39, 46-51, Romans 3:23-25, 8:34, Colossians 2:9, Philippians 2:6-11, Hebrews 2:14 1 Timothy 2:5 1 John 5:20)
  3. Holy Spirit – We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of God. He restrains evil in the world, convicts men of sin, dwells in the believer, glorifies Christ, and equips us for service. (John 16:7-15, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 14:22-24, Hebrews 2:4, 1 John 5:6-8)
  1. Angels

We believe that angels are spiritual beings which were created sinless. Presently angels exist in both fallen and unfallen states. The unfallen state including Gabriel, Michael and his angels to assist God in His redemptive plan for men. The fallen state including Satan and his demons. We believe that Satan is a personal being who is the enemy of God and all Christians. He and his demons rule the kingdom of the air and seek to destroy Gods redemptive plan for men. (Hebrews 1:6, 13, 14, 2 Peter 2:4, Isaiah 14:12-14, Genesis 3:1-19, Hebrews 2:14, Revelations 20:10, Ephesians 2:1, 2, 6:12, Job 1:7, 8, Daniel 10:13, 13:2, Luke 1:26, 28, 1 Corinthians 6:3, Jude 1:9, Revelation 12:7-9)

  1. Man

We believe that man is created by God in God’s image, through sin has become unable to please God, and is condemned to suffer eternal punishment apart from accepting God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27, Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 3:23, 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:22)

  1. Marriage and Sexuality

We believe marriage has been biblically defined between one man and one woman. We believe that sex is a gift from God to be practiced only in the context of marriage between one man and one woman and that any practice of it outside marriage and outside of a man and woman is sinful. (Genesis 2:18-24, Ephesians 5:31-33, Mark 10:6-9, 2 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Corinthians 5:9-11, 6:18, 19, 7:1-39, Matthew 15:19, Romans 1:19-32)

  1. Salvation

We believe that salvation is freely offered to all and comes only through a personal relationship and commitment to Jesus Christ alone. Salvation provides the believer with eternal life in God’s presence. We further believe that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God, was purchased by Jesus Christ on the cross, is eternally secured by the Holy Spirit, and is received by faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual. We further believe salvation results in righteous living, good works, and proper social concern that ultimately will be rewarded by Christ at the judgment seat. (Ephesians 2:8-10, 2 Corinthians 5:10, John 1:12, 3:6-7, 16, 17, 5:24, 10:27-30, 1 John 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, 8:1-16, 38-39, 1 Peter 1:14-16, 1 Corinthians 3:12-17)

  1. The Church

We believe from the day of Pentecost until the day of Christ’s gathering of His church to be caught up with Him (Rapture) is considered the Church Age, in which we are currently living in.  We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head. We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons, regardless of denomination, who have accepted the atoning work of Christ and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the local church is an assembly of professing Christians who voluntarily join together, on the basis of the agreement of common beliefs, in one location to encourage one another to carry out our purpose of Glorify, Grow, and Give as stated in article 3 of Articles of Incorporation.

We believe the ordinances of the local church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, as instituted by Jesus Christ himself. Baptism identifies a believer publicly with Christ and His people. It is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The Lord Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death, the elements being symbols of Christ body and blood. And  is open for all believers who are in a growing relationship with the Lord to partake in. (Matthew 28:19- 20, Acts 2:42-47, Romans 6:1-14, 1 Corinthians 1:1-2, 11:23-26, 12:12, 13, Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 1:18, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17)

  1. End Times

We believe that the souls of believers in Jesus Christ pass immediately into His presence at death. We believe in the future, the Church, both living and dead will be caught up and joined to Christ (Rapture). We believe there will a  tribulation, a second coming of Christ, a 1000-year reign of Christ, a final battle between Christ and Satan, a final judgment of the unbelievers, a creation of a New Jerusalem, heaven and earth as the final resting place for all the believers to dwell with God forever. (Mark 13: 24-37, Acts 2:14-21, 1 Corinthians 15, 2 Corinthians 5:10,    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, Revelations 16:16-20, 20:1-6, 11-15, Matthew 23, 24, Luke 16:19-26, Acts 1:11, John 14;1-3)
